I AM HYDRO GmbH specializes in the examination and monitoring of aquatic systems and the soil-plant-atmosphere system. Our services include sample collection, individual measurements, surveying, measurement campaigns, as well as the installation, maintenance, and operation of measurement stations and data loggers. Furthermore, we are skilled in data processing, including data review, correction, statistical analysis, and post-processing.

Christian Haas
Christian Haas holds a degree in ‘Environmental Engineering’ from the University of Stuttgart and possesses extensive project experience both nationally and internationally. From 2015 to 2017, he served as an expert in water data at the National Environmental Commission, and from 2019 to 2023, he worked in the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in Bhutan. He has given guest lectures and worked as a consultant not only in Europe and Scandinavia but also in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, China, and Georgia.
Since 2020, he has been teaching at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management at the University of Stuttgart. With longstanding expertise in the field of technical fish monitoring, he is the driving force behind the international Symposium on Technical Fish Monitoring (StMF) and is a member of the DWA Working Group 7.2 on the functionality of fish passage and fish descent facilities.

Philipp Thumser
Philipp Thumser obtained his academic background in hydrology and meteorology at the Technical University of Dresden. Over the past 10 years, he has been involved in and led a wide range of projects and investigations at more than 70 water bodies both domestically and abroad. He has worked for organizations such as UNOPS and WFP in South Sudan, UNDP in Bhutan, and GIZ in Thailand. Since 2020, he has also been engaged in a teaching role at the Institute for Water and Environmental System Modeling at the University of Stuttgart, specializing in hydraulic engineering and water resources management.
